American Blade Works Model 1 V6 Black G10 Stone Washed Blade Knife
This rendition of the ABS Model1 V6 features a few changes. Michael has added jimping to the spine of the blade and added the option for ambidextrous carry. The clip itself sits deeper on the handle now, allowing for ultimate deep carry. Last but not least, he has added a stonewashed finish to the pocket clip, backspacer, and pivot, to match the blade finish. This rendition of Model 1 is a mid-tech, flipper knife, with a liner lock. The handles are made from Black G10, The blade is made of S35VN stainless and has been heat-treated and cryogenic tempered. The blade rides on ceramic caged bearings and hardened stainless thrust washers. The pivot and pivot screw has been made from hardened 416 stainless. The liners and pocket clip are made from titanium while sporting a ceramic detent ball. It has a 3.25" blade and is 4.67" long when closed. The knife and materials used are all 100% American Made. Michael is making almost every part of this knife in house, while every part is made right here in the states. All parts/pieces minus the 4 handle screws, 1 clip screw, caged bearings and detent ball, are made and machined by Michael himself. He even does the heat and cryo treatment himself.
