Tactile Turn is a Texas-based machine shop and design studio created by me, Will Hodges, specializing in turning the finest raw materials into quality writing instruments. Everything we produce is in our own shop with CNC lathes, one piece at a time.
If you're new to pens, knowing where to start can be tough. A good starting point for us is the crowd favorite Bolt Action Pen which comes in titanium, copper, bronze, and zirconium. The action is incredibly satisfying, it's fairly unique, and it looks great with the titanium damascus and engraving upgrades.
We also offer Click Pens, Pencils, and Capped Pens in various sizes and materials – each comes with a lifetime warranty and are designed to be collectable heirlooms that can be passed down for generations.
