Returning a New Condition Item
KnifeJoy customers may return a knife in new condition within 14 days of the delivery date, as shown in the carrier’s tracking information.
All returns must be approved by KnifeJoy before being shipped back. To initiate a return, please complete the form below. KnifeJoy will review your request within three business days. Once approved, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label via email.
Returned items must include all original packaging and materials, including any promotional items that were part of the original purchase. We recommend saving and using the original outer box if possible and undamaged. Do not attach a shipping label directly to the product packaging—place on the original outer box or a separate outer box and packaging if necessary.
Upon receipt, KnifeJoy will evaluate the item and original packaging to ensure it is in unused, new condition. If the return is accepted, a refund will be issued for the purchase price minus all shipping costs, including:

The original outbound shipping

The cost of return shipping
If the item was purchased using Sezzle or Afterpay, a 5% processing fee will also be deducted from the refund amount.
KnifeJoy may refuse a return if the item or its packaging is not in new condition or has been altered or attempted to be repaired by the customer. In such cases, the item will be returned to you, and you will be notified via email with a new tracking number.
KnifeJoy may charge a restocking fee if:

In Knifejoy’s sole discretion, a customer has a history of abusing the return policy.

The return involves a specialty item such as a custom knife, a limited production model, or other high-value product.
Returning a Defective Item
If you discover a defect in your product, contact KnifeJoy immediately and do not attempt to repair it yourself. Defective items must follow the same return process and use the same form as new condition items. If any evidence of tampering, modification, or disassembly is found, the return may not be accepted.
However, for approved defective returns:

No restocking fees or Sezzle/Afterpay deductions apply.
Please note: original outbound shipping is not refunded, even for defective items.
Return for Store Credit
If you choose to receive store credit (issued as a Gift Card) instead of a refund:

There will be no Sezzle or Afterpay deduction.

No restocking fee will apply.

You will receive a Gift Card for the purchase price minus the original and return shipping costs.
