The Stretch 2 is a highly refined folding hunting knife and the latest generation in a lineage of cutting tools that has spanned more than three decades. Based on detailed feedback from countless hardcore outdoorsmen, Spyderco’s folding hunters have steadily evolved since the release of the original C03 HunterTM in 1983. The Stretch 2 is a direct reflection of that real- world input and represents the pinnacle of the breed. Its VG-10 stainless steel blade is full-flat ground for exceptional edge geometry and features a drop-point profile that excels at all field- dressing tasks. The injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle has been extended to provide increased leverage and its ergonomics have been fine tuned to reduce fatigue during prolonged use. Its Bi-Directional TexturingTM guarantees a secure grip, even when wet, and is complemented by a deep index-finger choil (finger groove) for an enhanced purchase with a “choked up” grip. These refinements complement a four-position pocket clip, sturdy back lock mechanism, and fully accessible Trademark Round HoleTM to make the Stretch 2 fully ambidextrous and ready for the toughest challenges.
