Benchmade 583SBK Barrage Assisted Folder with 154CM Black Partially Serrated Tanto Blade and Black Valox Handle

The Benchmade 583SBK Barrage is an Osborne-designed assisted folder with a partially serrated tanto blade and black Valox handle. The Barrage platform introduced Benchmade’s AXIS Assist mechanism, combining one-handed opening with an ambidextrous lock and integrated safety.

The 154CM stainless steel blade features a black Cerakote finish. Its tanto profile provides a distinct forward cutting section, while serrations near the handle assist with rope and other fibrous materials. The remaining plain edge handles general utility cutting.

Black Valox handle scales surround stainless steel liners for structural support. Ambidextrous thumb studs initiate opening before the assist mechanism completes deployment. The AXIS Lock secures the open blade, and a black oxide-finished split-arrow clip provides pocket carry.
