This Prince Customs Protean (Serial Number 1106) is a distinctive custom configuration built around a blasted CPM 20CV drop point blade and a titanium frame. The 3.125-inch blade gives the compact Protean a strong, angular profile with a reinforced tip and clean utility geometry, while the 7.125-inch overall length keeps the knife compact and easy to carry.

The titanium handle features Prince Customs' Skelly AM skeletonized handle for a design that is both visually intricate and highly tactile. The machined treatment adds grip and depth to the titanium frame.  The Zirconium finishes and materials give this Protean a highly individualized appearance without obscuring the clean proportions of the underlying design.

The Protean is built as a compact premium frame-lock folder with caged ceramic bearings riding on hardened steel thrust washers. This example combines the functional foundation of the Protean with a particularly elaborate mix of milling, skeletonization, anodizing, and premium accent materials.
